I personally don't think any fake accents are hot. I mean you can flat out tell when they're fake, it's not even funny. But oh yeah, genuine british accents are a major turn on for me, I think they are one of the sexiest. mmmmmm! Just had to give a little life to the answer.

I don't know what a fake accent is. Either 1, you have an accent that seems different to a person because they were not accustomed to growing up around it, 2, you try to impersonate an accent but suck at it, or 3, you can immitate an accent fairly well. If a chick can do the third and use it in the right context it can be hot, but I would like to hear a fake accent some time. Lol.
People who do fake American accents always sound like they have front teeth missing and are from the deep south in the hills somewhere.
Nobody fakes out a West Coast plain accent. Haha I guess the only notable that we do is say words like cot and caught identically. We don't make a difference between the a u and the o in cot or hot. I don't even know how people make their mouth do that with the a u g h words.

To the OP, what the hell would be the point of a fake accent? Maybe it's just me, but I don't see any way that could be hot. Fake anything is not hot to me. If you want someone to fake an accent, Hardy Boy, what else do you want them to fake for you?

the only time I've faked anything, is when I've performed as an actress, as someone other than myself. so, other than that particular thing, I agree with Alicia that faking is never hot.
i think if a man or a woman can pull of another accent other than the onethey are accustomed well great. some actors can do this well. the lady who married brad pitt for example. patrick stweart does a good job. now i have not heard but a few chicks on here non with an accent. i have heard cam darling, by far he is the hottest accent. dont know if he is some petite femal from china but regardless. he could stand in the corner and receit the u.s. constitution whil i declare me independance from me boxer shorts!
in no order, boston accent, scottish/irish accents, spanish are all hot. man or woman.

I love spanish accents. I mean, people from spain. African accents are not for me. I guess I'm used to all types of American accents, so, um not a turn on, but not a turn off either. Some asian accents are, ehhh, ok. Germans, when they tell you "I love you", it sounds like they're indeed saying "I hate you". Lol! Nuh uh! I still stick with some english accents. Those are boiling! :)
It is impressive how well famous actors can immitate accents which is part of the job. I wish I could immitate the New York / Italian accent a little better.

Ryan, that is true about actors. There was a 90's show called Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, and I believe the actress was Australian, but you couldn't hear a trace of her accent in the show, only when she was interviewed. May be wrong on her nationality, but point being she was not from the US, but she sounded like it in character. Same thing with the guy who played Dr. House. He was from England, I think, and did not at all sound like it. It is pretty cool, though not at all what the OP was driving for, I'm sure.
You're kidding. I would never think he was from England. It's interesting to hear some singers talk too because their true accent comes out when they are speaking unlike in their matterial. I heard Rehanna talk in an interview once and she has a different accent. I forget what island she is from which I never heard of before, but I liked the accent.
Yep, I've heard him interviewed, and you can definitely tell in his voice. And Rihanna is from Barbados, I think.

House only sounds British if you know -exactly what to look for. His r's are a little too exaggerated, for example, and his inflections' just a bit off. But it's such a tiny difference that if you weren't paying attention you wouldn't notice at all.
My fave accents are british and some U.S accents (not all mind you.)

Yes, my Mum is a kiwi, and when she shouts, it comes out. She's been out here for longer than she's lived in New Zealand so she doesn't have much of an accent normally any more. :)

I can immitate some accents, but the effect is more comic than anything else. But since I'm from the west coast of America I can't say I have a distinctive accent. AS for other people and their accents, I kind of prefer real ones to fake ones. I need to find a way to befriend some nice young women with Irish accents, for example. LOL!
Everyone has some kind of accent. Just because you yourself don't hear it, doesn't mean you don't have one.

I agree. OftentimesI can tell when someone's faking an accent. But agirl with a little bit of a southern drawl can be a major turn-on for me. I've met a few suc girls on the Zone. Certain Irish accents can do it for me as well. I could listen to the Australian accent for hours.
